Privacy Policy for the Diário do Professor app

This policy covers the Android app Diário do Professor (br.com.rmportotech.profdiario), published by RM Porto Tech on Google Play. The app itself is available in Brazilian Portuguese only. It does not replace the website privacy policy, which covers rmportotech.com.br.

Who the controller is

The app is published by R M Porto Silva Serviços Tecnológicos, registered in Brazil under CNPJ 28.421.511/0001-04 and trading as RM Porto Tech. Contact for privacy matters: contato@rmportotech.com.br.

Summary

The app collects no data at all. It runs entirely offline, makes no network requests, has no sign-up or login, shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking of any kind. Everything you record stays on your device. RM Porto Tech never receives, sees or stores anything you type into the app.

What is stored on your device

The app keeps a local database inside its private storage area on Android, holding: the classes you create and their rules (passing average, minimum attendance, number of terms, scheduled lessons), the student list with the name and roll number you type, attendance records per lesson, the assessments of each term and the grades you enter.

These records never leave the device on the app's initiative. There is no server, no user account and no synchronisation.

About student data

The app is a teacher's personal tool, the equivalent of the notebook they already keep. What gets recorded about students is decided by you, the teacher, in the course of your work — and, as the case may be, by the school where you teach. RM Porto Tech does not determine what is entered, receives no copy of it and does not process it in any way.

We recommend recording only the minimum you need: a name and a roll number are enough. The app never asks for and has no field for date of birth, identity documents, address, phone number, photographs or any other personal detail about a student.

What the app does not do

  • It makes no network requests. The app behaves identically with the device in flight mode.
  • It has no account, login, password or social integration.
  • It contains no ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs and no tracking of any kind.
  • It does not access location, contacts, camera, microphone, calendar, photos or personal files.
  • It does not collect advertising identifiers or device information.
  • It sends no crash reports and no usage statistics.

Permissions

The app requests no sensitive Android permission — no permission prompt appears at any point. The package declares only automatic permissions inherited from the libraries it uses: network access, which the app never exercises, vibration, used for the haptic feedback when marking attendance, and an internal permission Android requires for the app to deliver notices to itself. None of them grants access to your data.

Exporting reports

The app produces PDF and spreadsheet files from your own records. The file is created locally and handed to the Android share sheet, where you choose the destination: save it on the device, send it by e-mail, open it in another app. The app never uploads the file anywhere and never picks a destination for you.

Once you choose a destination, handling is governed by whichever app or service you selected. Since these files contain student names and grades, the destination deserves the same care you would give a printed class list.

Android backup

The app allows Android to include its data in the device's automatic backup — the same mechanism that preserves your other apps' data when you switch phones. That backup is performed by the operating system to the Google account configured on the device, under Google's terms, and never passes through RM Porto Tech. You can turn it off in the Android backup settings.

Retention and deletion

Since nothing leaves the device, we hold no data of yours to retain or delete. Inside the app, deleting a class removes its records; uninstalling the app removes all local data. If you use Android backup, delete the backup through the system settings as well.

Children

The app is intended for teachers, that is, for adults, and is not directed at children. It is not distributed through the Google Play Families programme and collects no data from any user, including the students whose names a teacher may record locally.

Your rights

Under Brazil's LGPD, the GDPR and equivalent laws, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. In practice the app gives us no data about you: we only have what you choose to write in a support message. Requests go to contato@rmportotech.com.br and are answered within the period the applicable law sets.

As for student records kept in the app, they exist only on your device, under your control and that of your school's rules. We have no access to them and cannot retrieve, change or delete them.

Security

Data lives in the app's private storage, an area Android isolates from other installed apps. With no transmission there is no data in transit to intercept, and with no server there is no central database that could leak. Device protection — screen lock and Android encryption — is what guards these records, and it is worth keeping it on.

Purchases and payments

The current version is free and contains no purchases. Should a subscription be offered in the future, billing will be processed by Google Play acting as the seller. RM Porto Tech neither receives nor stores card or payment data.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, and material changes are flagged on the app's Google Play listing.
